May 30, 2020: A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launches from LC-39A at Kennedy Space Center at 3:22 P.M. EDT, sending NASA astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley to the International Space Station aboard SpaceX's Crew Dragon capsule!
This launch marked the first crewed flight of NASA's Commercial Crew Program, SpaceX's first crewed launch, and the first crewed launch from American soil since the retirement of the Space Shuttle in July 2011. It also marked the first time a private company has launched humans to orbit.
