Launching NASA astronauts Bob Behnken, this mission marked the return of orbital human spaceflight to the United States for the first time since the retirement of the Space Shuttle in July 2011, as well as the first time humans flew to orbit on a commercial vehicle — SpaceX’s Dragon “Endeavour.”
