Falcon 9: Inspiration4
September 15, 2021, at 8:02 p.m. — SpaceX's Falcon 9 B1062-3 launches Inspiration4 to a low Earth orbit from Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The Inspiration4 mission served as a $250 million fundraising initiative for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and was the first all-civilian mission to orbit, with Mission Commander Jared Isaacman, Mission Pilot Dr. Sian Proctor, Mission Specialist & Medical Officer Hayley Arceneaux, and Mission Specialist Chris Sembroski spending three days in space aboard SpaceX’s Dragon Resilience spacecraft.
I was honored to serve as Inspiration4's Campaign Photographer and capture these moments for the crew, for their families, and for history. Photos in this gallery span the entire mission campaign, from crew announcement in March, to training throughout 2021, the launch itself, and post-launch events.
100% of proceeds from print sales via this gallery are donated to St. Jude.
