Starship SN9: High-Altitude Flight Test
February 2, 2021, at 2:25 p.m. — SpaceX's Starship upper stage prototype SN9 launches on a high-altitude flight test from Suborbital Pad B at Starbase in Texas. SN9 came in for a hard, fiery, and explosive landing — but provided valuable data to SpaceX ahead of further high-altitude test flights and future orbital launches and landings of Starship.
