Rocket 3.3: TROPICS-1
June 12, 2022: Astra's Rocket 3.3 smallsat launch vehicle (LV0010) launches from SLC-46 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 1:43 P.M. EDT with NASA's TROPICS-1 mission.
After an issue during the second stage burn, the vehicle failed to reach orbit with the first two satellites in the six-satellite TROPICS constellation.
