February 19th, 2017: A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launches from LC-39A at Kennedy Space Center — the first vehicle to fly from the historic pad following the space shuttle's 2011 retirement — at 9:39 A.M. EST, delivering the CRS-10 Dragon to the International Space Station. Seen below is the rocket's first stage landing back at Landing Zone 1. This landing marked the first return to landing site landing to occur during the day.
